Picking yourself up

Extrapolating this quote to art and life:
Be the friend you seek for.
Be the person you want your child to be. 
Be the person your dog thinks you are. 
Make the song you want to sing.
Sing the song you want to listen.
In summary, pick yourself up and don’t wait to be picked.
